Fall is finally in full swing and the leaves are looking beautiful! With the change in season comes the returning threat of “seasonal” illnesses like colds and the flu. Have you ever wondered why there is such a thing as “seasonal” illness? Why would viruses and bacteria only come around during the fall and winter months? They don’t – this is a MYTH!
Very seldom will it work for everyone in your family to go cold turkey from Standard
American Diet to a clean nutrient dense diet. What I see happening is that
someone decides that it is time to change the way your eating. You go get kale for
kale chips, start making bone broth, stop baking, buy a tub of coconut oil. By the
way all these things are really great to do. But all at once implementing these
changes and your family can freak out.
The holidays are awesome. We get to spend some much needed time with family and friends, yet for the majority of people, their health suffers.
Why?
There’s no excuse to give up your healthy eating habits and throw exercise to the wind with the “I’m just too busy” excuse. Wouldn’t it be nice to bring on the New Year feeling AMAZING, rather than bloated, tired, and with the same New Year’s resolution of “I will lose 15 pounds!!”
